Global Studies consists of three distinct yet complementary sets of curriculum: International Languages, English as a Second Language (ESL) and Family Studies. Courses promote effective critical thinking skills, increased self-motivation and confidence, as well as enhanced cultural respect and tolerance. Furthermore, Global Studies enhance communication, problem solving and practical daily living skills leading to greater success in future post-secondary career goals and workplace initiatives in our global society. Students gain social tools to interact more effectively in the global community.

Global Studies encompasses an eclectic study of human language and behaviour. All courses teach an aspect of communication and cultural proficiency in a unique manner that enhances student learning. Global Studies give students a clearer understanding of themselves, Canadian society and the world.
